24. We Move to Fontana, California

The dam project Perry had worked on in Washington had completed and we move back to California. Perry got a job as a welder at the Henry J. Kaiser steel plant in Fontana and the family bought a house there. The price was $1,400. It was in bare ground with just the house so we had lots of work to do. My brother Loren was born there. We kids went to the local Jr. High and then to Chaffey Union High School in Ontario.
