Myra Lee Crawford Life 24. We Move to Fontana, California The dam project Perry had worked on in Washington had completed and we move back to California. Perry got a job as a welder at the Henry J. Kaiser steel plant in Fontana and the family bought a house there. The price was $1,400. It was in bare ground with just the house so we had lots of work to do. My brother Loren was born there.
