At a kid I always thought Mom was a pretty lady. Straight and tall is how I remember her. She spent a lot of time encouraging me to read at an early age. I remember getting a set of "Nancy Drew" books for Christmas. On another Christmas she got me a large set of "Perry Mason" mystery books. I read them all and enjoyed them.
