25. We Move to Monterey Park, California, 1946-1949

In 1946-1949 we lived here in Monterey Park, California. Mom operated a letter shop in this home for many years and I often worked for her. I also sold popcorn for the Los Angeles Rams football team at the LA Coliseum and the Los Angeles Angels baseball team at Wrigley field. In 1947 Donald left to join the Air Force. In 1948 Crawford left to go the California Institute of Technology (Cal Tech). In 1949 I left to join the army. The house on the right was 620 East Emerson. You see the second floor apartment above the garage where JC and Paul lived. The main house is out of sight. The location is now a big apartment complex.
