Paul Noll Growing Up 22. Paul Noll's Third Grade Class This was taken in Arlington, California in 1939. I am in the Third Grade at Liberty Elementary School in Arlington. My teacher is Miss Kiple. I remember her as a grumpy lady and mostly unfriendly. I'm sure she was a good teacher and made me work hard. I did well in all subjects except handwriting and music. Today I print rather than write and, according to my son, still can't sing. Where am I? I am seated just to the right of the teacher. I think she was keeping a stern eye on me. I don't know why. In the back of the picture is the auditorium. I remember Robert Carley in the back row to the left. He and I were good buddies. ⇦ Back to Page 21 On to Page 23 ⇨Hi-Res Pic (136K) Return to Paul Growing Up - Page 3 |
