38. Fun on the Lawn

I always remember Mom with her hair in order. She took great pride in her personal appearance and taught us boys the same. As boys we really didn't care about clothes that much but she made sure we always were dress well and in clean clothes. In the early years she made lots of our clothes and was good at it so no one knew we wore "homemade" clothes. This house had a cellar where we kept our canned jars. We canned a lot of things. You can see the cellar doors on the left.
