39. Six Feet of Boys

Mom always had a fun streak. Here she takes an unusual photo, but that was so typical of my Mom. We thought it was fun too. One thing I remember about his house. In side the back door just beyond the back porch was the kitchen. The refrigerator was a GE. On the door was a gauge with an arrow. It most often pointed to a green area which said "safe." On the right was a red area which read "Danger." I always checked it to make sure it said "safe." If it red "Danger," I thought we had to leave the house.
