63. Fontana in 1943

When we moved to Fontana, CA it was a small town. They had no High School. Students were bussed to Ontario at Chaffey Union High School. There was no theater, movies. The local department store showed movies in their back room. Cost 5 cents. This picture shows the city in about 1945. A Movie theater had been built by then. Price moved up to a dime.
