Chinese Crabapple

Malus spectabilis A decorative tree from China where it was found in cultivation, but not in the wild. Height to 9 meters (30 feet). Flowers are usually profuse, opening in late April or May; each is about 5-7.5cm (2-3 inches) across when fully open, 6-8 in a cluster. We have one growing along our 1/2 mile driveway.
