Noll's Pierland Lane Home - Old Photos 13. Looking Northwest This early photo shows the front area of the house. The concreted steps leading down to the front door of the house has a serious problem. The fountain occupies much of the steps so very little space exists on either side for passage. The fountain has no means of drainage so the water gets bad soon. The ground slopes and is almost total rock so nothing can be planted. No curbing exist between the driveway and the planting area so gravel travels into the planting area. The concrete in front of the front door slants the wrong way and always leaves a pool of water. The 20 year old cedar shake roof needs work. The power panel feeding the old heat pump needs help from falling off. The windows on the alcove need replacing. No landscaping can be done in this front yard as it now exists.
