The View to the South in the Snow - 36

On January 17, 2002, we had one of our rare snowstorms here in Pleasant Hill. The northern edge of our property has our power lines supplying our electricity. The heavily laden branches leaned on the lines and the lines began taut. But the power had stopped in the night. We started a fire in the fireplace for the day. That evening at about 6:00 we went to bed for warmth. At about 2:00 AM the power came on again. It snowed in March 9th 2006. We took this picture then.
