Friendly Deer as We Work - 37

On July 30th, 2004, as we worked on the driveway after the power company had trenched for new under ground electric lines, these deer casually walked by us within 10 feet. They looked quite healthy and very unconcerned as we watched them. Walking slowly they grazed on some grass and moved on. A sitting concrete deer did not interest them in the slightest.
