2. The Old Setup

One of the problems was in the old setup shown here was that there was no shutoff at this box. When you wanted to work here you had to go over a 100 yards away to shut off the water. So we first installed a ball valve to shut off all water to the box. Also after you shut off the water, the water already in the system was enough to flood the box. The plastic dish helped to remove the water so we could work dry rather than under water and in mud.
