Papilio multicaudata (Three-Tailed Swallow)

This species is the largest swallowtail in western North America and is a close relative of the more common Tiger Swallowtail. It is sometimes called 2-tailed Swallowtail because of its shortened third tail. It stands 13 Inches high. The butterfly is 5 by 5 Inches.
