1000 GB and 500GB External Hard Drives - 19

In these metal aluminum cases on both sides of the Arris Modem we keep two external hard drives. Each has its own power supply from a 120 volt brick and connects to the computer through a 3.0 USB port. A switch on the back allows us to disconnect them from the computer. The hard drive on the left is Drive G: It has a 500GB SATA hard drive inside. The drive on the right is Drive H. It has a 1000GB SATA hard drive inside. It has all the data from drive C: Normally we keep them offline unless we are backing up files. This way we have all our important data available if the computer or hard drives fail.
