Transcend 4 Port Powered USB 3.0 Hub - 20

My computer setup required many USB ports. That can be a problem. One solution is using powered hubs. Shown here is one we use.

Hubs can be either bus-powered, drawing power directly from the USB bus, or self-powered, drawing power from an external AC adapter. Self-powered hubs, on the other hand, typically provide up to 500 mA of power per port. They can provide power for more than four ports. The port on the left supports fast charging for iPad. The left plug is for my Fitbit device. The next plug has my camera cable is that allows my camera to download photos directly into my computer. This well-made device has switches on top to show when the port is powered. When a port is powered the switch glows blue to indicate it's powered.
