5. Assemble Legs

The top pieces have been glued together and now Paul begins to assemble the legs. All the pieces for the legs have been cut and rough sanded using the table belt sander. The legs assembly is then glued and screwed recessing the screws. Here Paul works on the leg assembly sitting on top of the inverted table making sure the leg sections arrive in the proper configurations. All holes have been predrilled and recessed. We rub the screws in bee's wax before screwing them in. This both lubricates and ensures good seating of the screws.
