4. Fort Clatsop Memorial Visitors Center

The park is open every day of the year except December 25th.

The visitor center includes 2 theatres, an exhibit hall, laser disc programs in the lobby, and many displays, which are rotated through the year. The park has several trails, a picnic area, restroom facilities, and a replica of the fort the Corps of Discovery constructed as winter quarters after crossing what is now the United States in search of a water trade route to the Pacific Ocean.
