5. Lunch Time

We stop for lunch on our way to the Manzanita campgrounds. Nearest to the interpretative center it became our favorite place to spend our week at Lassen. The park showed a movie of the eruption of 1914 and Landon enjoyed it so much he sat through it so many times he could recite it from memory. Also an Indian lady known as "Indian Annie" gave talks about her childhood in the Lassen area.
