4. Noll Family Visit to Lassen Park

Both Chet and Landon became absolutely fascinated with volcanoes and the Lassen Volcanic National Park. The park had a number of signs at designated areas illustrating various scenic and geological spots of interest along the road. Some 35 signs dotted the road ride on the way to the campground. Using the booklet, the boys would take turns reading the descriptions as we stopped at each sign. Both boys learned so much information about the local area, something they have continued to do as they visit other scenic spots.
