Wildflowers Found in Oregon Large False Solomon's Seal Maianthemum racemosum - Common, midsummer, perennial, 12-37 in. Stem upright, unbranched, usually arched with cluster of flowers at end, showy in flower and berry. Leaves alternate, sessile or grasping stem, oblong, with pointed tips, 3-8 in. long, hairless above. Flowers 20 or more, small, bright white, in tight panicle 2-5 in. long. Berries green with brown mottling when young, turning bright red with age.
