White Coral Fungus

Ramariopsis kunzei - Whitish to pinkish, branched coral with scruffy-hairy stalk base. 1-3 inch wide, 1-4 inch high; usually many branched. Flesh pliant to fragile. Reported to be edible. Found July to October. Habitat: on the ground or rarely, on decaying wood in forest. Found Washington to Southern California.
