Wildflowers Found in Oregon Oregon Geranium Geranium oreganum - Uncommon, late spring-midsummer, perennial, 18-30 in. Upright. Stem hairless to soft-hairy, glands on upper section. Leaves 2 1/2-5 1/2 in. wide, nearly round, deeply divided into 5-7 segments, the top 3/4 of segments lobed. Flowers on 102 in. stalks; 5 petals 2/3-1 long, nearly round, red-purple. Grows in open prairies, oak woodlands west of Cascade mountains from near seal level and upwards in northern Oregon, and in more moist shaded conditions at higher elevations in southern Oregon and California.
