Wildflowers Found in Oregon Arrowleaf Groundsel Senecio triangularis - Locally common, all summer, perennial, 1-5 ft. Cluster of very tall stems with evenly spaced leaves, same size on top. Arrow-shaped leaves 2-8 in. long, on short petioles or sessile, deeply toothed. Few to numerous yellow flower heads in small cluster on top. Head includes 8 ray flowers toothed at tips, 40 disk flowers in center. Grows in wet meadows, conifer forests, streambanks, at mid to alpine elevations. Native.
