Japanese Knotweed

Polygonum cuspidatum - General: Japanese Knotweed resembles the Giant Knotweed, but the Japanese Knotweed has egg-shaped, abruptly pointed leaves more or less squared off at the base and flowers about 3-4 mm long. Not as huge as the Giant Knotweed. Introduced from Asia. Ecology: Moist ravines, ditches, waste places; low elevation; scattered, locally common.
