Wildflowers Found in Oregon Mountainbells (Bronze Bells) Stenanthium occidentale - Uncommon, midsummer, perennial, 1-2 ft. Stem weakly upright, slender. Basal leaves 2-4, grasslike, 4-12 in. long. Flowers hang along top part of nodding stem, bronzy yellow to green bells spotted with purple, tips of petals curling back, fragrant.
