Western Yellow Oxalis (Suksdorf's Wood Sorrel)

Oxalis suksdorfii - Locally common, late-spring-midsummer, perennial, 4-12 in. Trailing but not rooting at nodes or erect, more or less hairy. Leaves on stem with petiole less than 2 in., divided into 3 leaflets, each less than 3/4 in. Flower single or 2-3 loosely clustered. Petals 1/2 - 3/4 in. long, bright yellow. Grows in dry woods and shrubby areas at low elevations. Native.
