Paul Noll Joins the US Army
24. My MOS Card for Fort Monmouth Training I spent 56 weeks going to school at Fort Monmouth, 8 hours a day for 5 days a week. The back of the record shows some of the classes I took. I graduated with a rating of "Excellent." My score average for the year was 95.6 out of a 100. I worked hard and it was a good and difficult set of classes. As you can see I carried this card with me all through the war in Korea. I was assigned to the 581st Signal Radio Relay Company at Camp Gordon, Georgia upon completion of my training. My job in Korea was to set up, tune, and repair the transmitters and receivers for our relay station. ⇦ Back to Scene 23 On to Scene 25 ⇨Return to Page 4 |
