First we make sure we have all that we need for the cake. Check to see you have all that are needed and also enough. It is not good to run out during the preparation. We listed the ingredients on the opening page. We both work at the job but Bernice gets in all the pictures because Paul takes all the pictures. It is wonderful if you can involve you children in the making of these things. Make them feel part of it. Encourage them to write down the recipe and steps. We get so many messages telling us about how their Mom or Grandmother made this and now they are gone and also the instructions.
