24. Finished Pie

After the pie has nicely browned we remove it from the oven and place it on a wire rack to cool. It can be eaten now or covered with foil and frozen. You could also have covered it with foil and frozen it before baking. Later you could remove it from the freezer to bake it. Our pie and yours may not make the blue ribbon at the fair but we will get one from our rug rats when they eat it. Later with more experience you can enter your pie in the fair.
