9. Aunt Jo and Johnny

This is my Mother's younger sister Jo Beard and her son, John Beard. They lived in Los Angeles for many years. At times while my Mother was continuing her degree I stayed with my Aunt Jo. She was always kind to me. Her son John has been operating his own Photo Business for many years. Jo's husband John came to my rescue when I returned from Korea on the 23rd of December. He drove from Los Angeles to Fort Ord to get me home for Christmas Eve, 1951.
