Paul Noll Growing Up 95. Paul Works on his "New" Car Now that I had a car Dad taught me how to work on it. Cars were much more simple in those days. The engine was the old "Blue Flame Six." It was quite lonesome there in the hood. You could easily work on the engine and tune the engine. At this time I worked at a store assembling bicycles, cribs and anything else needed assembling. I also delivered the LA Times in the morning. On the paper route I used my bicycle.
