Paul Dies in China -- Part 4
An Angel Answers
At the hospital I really could not understand what was happening. An Angel
spoke to me as clear as a voice could be. They reminded me of a song we sang in
church. The song that flashed through my mind, "O what peace we often forfeit,
O what needless pain we bear, all because we do not carry everything to God in
prayer."
I said Lord I need help. I didn't know what was happening to me or what was
wrong but that I needed help. Almost at once I fell into a deep sleep and slept
for almost 20 hours. When I awoke I felt much better and was back in my right
mind.
I Leave the Hospital after a Month The Chief Doctor of the Hospital came to see me when I was leaving. She told me several things. First, that, "I was lucky, in that we don't save many in your condition." Second, "I was the only one in that hospital that was going to leave the hospital alive." Most were old Communist stalwarts who had advanced cases of emphysema and were on oxygen. She did prescribe a years supply of multi-vitamins for me which my Boss paid for. The total costs for the month? One hundred Dollars US and my Chinese boss paid that. Before I left that hospital every Doctor in the hospital had a copy of the Bible in English and Chinese.
