Nolls Oregon Home Our Cistern - 13 We have a well at our home for water. The well is about 600 feet deep. It is about a half mile from the house at the bottom of our hill. We have a 20-foot wide strip of land down to the bottom of the hill we own for our driveway and a 50 by 130 foot piece where the well is. Water is automatically pumped up the hill to our cistern. This is our cistern. It holds 1,500 gallons of water in a tank underground. A shallow well pump then pumps water to the house. The elevation at our cistern is 820 feet. ⇦ Back to Page 12 On to Page 14 ⇨Hi-Res Pic (220K) Return to Noll Home Scenes - Page 2 |
