Orange Peel Fungus

Aleuria aurantia - Cup: 3/4 - 4 inch wide; saucer- to shallowly cup-shaped; outer surface pale whitish to orange-yellow. Reported to be edible. Season: May to October. Habitat: In groups or clusters, on hard soil along roadsides, on disturbed soil of gardens, newly planted lawns, and landslides. Found throughout North America.
