Wildflowers Found in Oregon Blue Oregon Iris Iris tenax - General: Showy, clumped perennial herb to 40 cm tall, from slender rhizomes. Leaves: Chiefly basal, long (to 40 cm) and narrow (5 mm wide) tough; 104 stem leaves. Flowers: Blue to purple, often lavender, occasionally white to pinkish or even yellow, sepals and petals to 6 cm long; 1-2 flowers on flowering stems to 35 cm tall.
