Wildflowers Found in Oregon Cladonia Ecmocyna Lichen Cladonia ecmocyna Podetia 2-20 cm tall, simple to sparingly branched, not lacerate or perforate, whitish to olive green or brownish, often orange brown or yellowish brown at the base, cupless and pointed or with narrow cups, with marginal (occasionally central) proliferations from the cups. Range widespread throughout the Pacific Northwest. Found in soil, humus or moss. Habitat: Abundant in many exposed to lightly shaded habitats, especially talus slopes and outcrop areas, also forming extensive mats in some open subalpine forests.
